Coaches: A Key to Life Change

What is the “bottom line” when it comes to small groups?  It isn’t attendance, number of groups, or how often groups serve together.  What we’re aiming, pushing, and praying for is life change for the individual group members.  I remember when one of our former elders, Randy Nelson, shared some thoughts about his experience in college.  He relayed that the thing that kept him involved in church wasn’t a flashy worship service or great preaching, but it was seeing change in his own life.  Genuine life change is what keeps people engaged in church.  Life change is what draws people to a worship service.  Life change is what lasts–its what matters to God.
