13 Things Mentally Strong Churches Don’t Do

13 Things Mentally Strong Churches Don’t Do

I came across this post last week entitled 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do.  Its a good, quick read and provides some opportunities for self-reflection and improvement.  If you’re prone to negative self-talk or find yourself surrounded by folks who seem to thrive on taking you down a notch, I would recommend it.  There’s also a related post on How to Develop Mental Toughness. What Have I Been Up To?

What Have I Been Up To?

I received a comment on yesterday’s post indicating that my blog had been missed over the past several weeks (And, no, it wasn’t from my mom.  Thanks, David!).  The past couple of months have been some of the busiest I can recall.  And, unfortunately, blogging just had to take a back seat.  Hopefully I can get back on track through the holidays. Distraction #2: Realizing the ‘strange sound’ is a yellow jacket that has wandered into my house and now into my office. Right above my head. Distraction #3: Running out of my office. Distraction #4: Coming up with a game plan. Distraction #5: Executing wasp elimination game plan. Distraction #6: Cleaning up the mess I made during #5. Distraction #7: Feeling the need to post this. And now that I’ve distracted you…you’re...
