Last week I posted on the Leadership Network blog about a presentation I sat in on Thursday morning.  It was given by Walt Wilson, a remarkable man that has merged technology and the Gospel in a powerful way through an organization called Global Media Outreach.  Here’s an excerpt from the post: Yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Walt Wilson, founder and chairman of Global Media Outreach. Going Off the Grid

I don’t come from a worship tradition that places much value in liturgy.  Its not something that was even on my radar for the first 30-35 years of my life.  However, over the past few years, I have come to appreciate the opportunity liturgy and the ‘liturgical year’ offers to set a cadence or rhythm of life that is centered on the person of Jesus and the powerful acts of God.  Too often I find my life being swept along by various ‘seasons’ that have little or nothing to do with God.  At best I become inattentive to the importance of centering all of life on things that matter, things that last forever. While I am far from being an accomplished liturgist (not sure that’s really a word), I have dabbled a bit.  We’ve done some things the past two years to engage our family in activities and conversations during Advent, and I have journeyed along with a few friends and Anglican brethren through the season of Lent on...
