Coming Soon: Your Time-Starved Marriage Campaign!

Marriages form the key building blocks of our families, churches, communities and our nation.  The frantic speed of life we find ourselves trying to keep pace with takes its toll on couples young and old.  Our small groups are full of husbands and wives struggling to stay on top of their obligations while maintaining a healthy marriage.

The upcoming Your Time-Starved Marriage campaign is a joint effort of the Grow Groups and Family Enrichment ministries designed to help our couples stay connected at the speed of life.  I want to invite you and your group to be a part of this potentially marriage-changing event!

How Can Your Group Participate?
#1 – Attend the Coffee Shop on March 6th.  An intro to the Time-Starved Marriage material will be presented at the Coffee Shop, along with very practical ideas that couples can put into practice immediately.  The Coffee Shop will provide a great set up for the small group study.  Adjust your schedule to attend first service on that morning at 8 AM and Bible class at 9:30.  The Coffee Shop begins after that at 10:30.  Registration for the Coffee Shop will begin in a couple of weeks.

#2 – Use the DVD-based Curriculum in Your Group.  Following the Coffee Shop, your group has the opportunity to participate in a 6-week series utilizing the DVD-based Time-Starved Marriage curriculum.  Diving into material like this in a small group setting is a powerful way to move from acquiring knowledge about improving your marriage to actually putting the principles and ideas into practice.  You can use the material just with your current group members, or you can open your group up to couples that don’t have a small group (see #3).

The Grow Groups Ministry will purchase DVD’s and Leader’s Guides for all groups that want to participate.  If your group members want to purchase participant guides and/or the Your Time-Starved Marriage book, we can order those for you at a discount as well (but your group will have to pay for them).  Let me know if your group wants to participate and if you want additional resources ordered by Sunday, February 27th.

#3 – Open Your Group to Other Couples.  Our hope is that many couples from PR will attend the Coffee Shop and be encouraged to participate in the study as well.  If your group is willing and able to accommodate more couples for the 6-week series that follows, you can become a host group.  Discuss this possibility with your group and let me know by Sunday, February 27th.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 6th, and make plans to invest in your marriage.
