Launching a New Group for Multisite Churches
In the fall of 2014, Leadership Network will be launching a new Leadership Community for multisite churches that are moving beyond 10 locations. I get to direct this group, which will be called the Multisite Next Level Leadership Community. So over the next several months I will be connecting with leaders around the country that have expanded or are expanding their multisite model beyond 10 geographic locations.
This will be an exciting group to be a part of because the teams in the room will represent some of the true pioneers of the multisite movement. Of the 5000+ churches in the United States that are now multisite, only a very small percentage, less than 1%, have taken the leap beyond 10 locations. I anticipate some great learnings and innovations to emerge over the two years this group will be together.
Below is an except from my blog post announcing the formation of this group. You can read the entire post on the Leadership Network blog: Multisite Next Level: A New Opportunity for Multisite Churches Moving Beyond 10 Locations.
Leadership Network has been privileged to be at the forefront of the multisite movement for the past twelve plus years. During that time we have seen a great deal of change and innovation in this model around the country.
One of the areas of growth we have witnessed over the past few years has been the number of multisite churches expanding beyond 10 locations. Crossing this threshold creates many new opportunities as well as unique obstacles for leaders. And with more churches adding locations across a variety of ministry environments (metropolitan, urban, rural, international), new ideas and learnings will be emerging in the months ahead!
A Gathering of Leading Multisite Churches
In conjunction with these new multisite trends and opportunities, Leadership Network will launch its first Multisite Next Level Leadership Community in the fall of 2014. This Leadership Community provides a unique collaborative experience for church leadership teams who are or have already moved beyond 10 multisite locations. As part of a community of around twelve innovative churches with bold multisite visions, teams will join together on a two-year journey to share ideas and best practices, learn from leaders and innovators in multisite and other specialty fields, and develop strategic pathways and plans that will accelerate their progress and multiply their impact.
