WriteThat.Name – Have You Tried It?
I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the lookout for things that will make my life easier, more simple. Now that I’m managing four email addressees (down from 6 last year), anything that can help keep all my contacts current and organized is a big deal.
This nifty little app scours your email inbox to curate data related to your contacts so you don’t have to. Phone numbers, email addresses, social media accounts, and more. From their FAQ’s:
1) How does WriteThat.Name analyze my emails? It’s very simple: the system securely recognizes the signature blocks in incoming emails, and is able to extract all contact details (full name, email, phone number, address, Linkedin account, etc.), and automatically (or manually, if you choose so) register this new data to your address book. Then, if any changes occur in contacts’ details, the system will recognize the change, and update your address book.
2) Which email providers/languages is the system compatible with? WriteThat.name is currently available for Gmail, GoogleApps, Outlook, and Lotus Notes. For teams, we also provide connections to SalesForce or HighRise CRM systems. The system is multi-lingual: we are able to reliably analyze any language based on Roman letters (ABCDEFGHIJK…).
3) Can I apply the WriteThat.name solution on more than one email account? Sure! Going premium allows you to assign 3 or more email accounts to be automatically and continually updated by the system.
4) What plans are there to choose from? If you are signing up on your own, we have a free plan which allows you to update up to 20 contacts monthly, in manual mode (not automatic). Then, you can get the premium plan (up to 300 updates a month, automatic, multiple-accounts), or the MaxPower(unlimited updates, unlimited multiple accounts, and our stellar flashback feature that scans your past). We also have plans for team members (starting at just 2 users!)- check them out here.
I’m using their free trial this month. I’ll keep you posted.
